Welcome:

 Welcome to Partridge Hill Gardens, located on the border of Dudley, Massachusetts and the Quiet Corner of Connecticut.  For those who can make the trip here, we will be officially open to the public starting in the last week in June. 
 

We will be open on Sundays from 8:00 am to 7 pm. Though Stephen and I are at home most of time (so many things to do!), we require that you call and make an appointment on the other days of the week. Give us a call (508)943-1885 or (860)705-9950.  July is peak bloom and last through mid-August! 
 

We love our customers and friends to have the opportunity to ask questions at any time and not feel ignored. We can also leave you to explore on your own.  Making an appointment will help make the experience a good one and give us a chance to visit!  There is much to see, so we provide chairs and umbrellas for your comfort.  After choosing your daylily(s), at your request, Stephen will dig, wash the roots, cut back foliage if desired, bag and deliver your selection to your vehicle.
 

 

Please consider the weather conditions before coming. We do not think high noon is the best time for viewing daylilies. Apart from the obvious reason, colors can be most appreciated at earlier or later times when there is less glare.  After 4:00 pm is the best time.  Note that we recommend you wear a hat with a brim (you don't want to hide the truly wonderful colors behind sunglasses!).
